Anthony Berkely Cox

Anthony Berkeley Cox (1893–1971), writing as Anthony Berkeley, was a leading figure of the Golden Age of detective fiction. He is best known for The Poisoned Chocolate Case (1929), a celebrated mystery famous for its ingenious multiple-solution format. Berkeley also created the amateur sleuth Roger Sheringham and was a founding member of the prestigious Detection Club, alongside writers such as Agatha Christie and Dorothy L. Sayers.
